The HumanOmni1S-8 (Omni1S) BeadChip is a remarkably priced tool for rapid integration of new rare 1000 Genomes content onto the Omni1/Express for 2-2.5M total variants (targeting MAF> 2.5%).

The updated content of the HumanHT-12 v4 Expression BeadChip provides biologically meaningful results through genome-wide transcriptional coverage of well-characterized genes, gene candidates, and splice variants. The chip will replace human gene expression V3 BeadChips (WG6, Ref8, HT12).

The Infinium HD iSelect 24-sample BeadChip allows researchers to assay 3,000 to 60,800 custom markers per sample. Pricing is calculated based upon the number of attempted bead types and sample volume.

Final order date for CanineSNP20, EquineSNP50, and BovineSNP50 v1 BeadChips is September 30, 2010. Shipments will end on December 23, 2010.

Human gene expression V3 BeadChips are soon to be discontinued (last orders around mid - May, 2010). HumanHT-12 v4 expression BeadChip is now available and should be chosen for all the new projects.

The GoldenGate Universal Array Matrix and GoldenGate Universal-16 Sample BeadChips are being discontinued. The final date to place orders is May 7, 2010, and final shipment will be on May 21, 2010. Illumina will continue to provide product support until August 21, 2010. Please note that this discontinuation does not affect the GoldenGate Universal-32 Sample BeadChip or the GoldenGate Universal-12 Sample BeadChips.

Illumina is offering a variety of alternative solutions for the Infinium Linkage-12 BeadChip, including the Linkage-V GoldenGate panel and the HumanCytoSNP-12 BeadChip. Orders for the Infinium Linkage-12 BeadChip are no longer being accepted.

Illumina will be discontinuing the DASL, GoldenGate Methylation, and MicroRNA Expression Profiling Assays for both the BeadChip and Universal Array Matrix formats. Supplies have now been exhausted for these assays on the Universal Array Matrix and orders are no longer being accepted. However, orders for the assays on BeadChip format will continue to be accepted until supplies are exhausted or March 1, 2010, whichever occurs first. Please note that this discontinuation does not apply to the Whole-Genome DASL and Infinium Methylation.
